This is my favorite camping/backpacking shelter. One layer waterproof tent with good ventilation, full floor and sides to keep out the bugs and water, and I've set this up with an extreme wind to the back side and it handles it. I've been snowed on, and just had to shake it off a couple times in the night. Tested in moderately heavy rain, everything inside stayed dry. Weighs three pounds minus poles, any hiking pole that will go to 140cm works fine. Of course it's so good, MSR doesn't make it anymore, but they make a new version called the Fast Stash.
