Canada here, BC specifically
Don't get /out/ much lately since moving to the city, but I used to do lots of fun shit
There's a ton of great wildlife around if you keep your eyes open and aren't surrounded by concrete for dozens of km in every direction
As far as interesting things go, I used to see bears pretty regularly. Most of the time it was a younger black bear or two, probably less than two years old, although a couple times I've come across a mother grizzly and her cubs while driving in the mountains.
I spent a day watching whales a couple years ago, got really close to a bunch of porpoises, and saw some humpbacks from a hundred feet or so.
There's deer everywhere, they're mostly a pest around here because they get into gardens and eat everything, and if you're really unlucky they get stuck behind a fence or in a shed or something and wreck the place in panic
Lots of interesting birds around. I'm not much of a birder, so I'm not great at identification but they're nice to see. Osprey are obvious at least, and there's plenty of falcons/eagles that I could probably identify if I looked them up. Where I used to live Bald Eagles were pretty common. The dogs really hate birds of prey, for some reason.
I've seen moose a few times, and an elk once while canoeing.
All the common stuff for southwest canada, really. Foxes, raccoons, a few different kinds of snakes, coyotes, bighorn sheep, all the different little birds, etc.
