Hey /out/ I'm saving money right now to get a motorcycle and go on some cross country trips. Does anyone have any experience in this and can offer some advice?

Also here's a list of things i have and don't have that i think i need. If you could make some recommendations on the don't have's i would appreciate it (I'm especially stuck on backpacks)
have:
>Sleeping bag
>Hammock
>Knife

need:
>Backpack
>tarp
>bug net
>small stove
>cooking set
>portable fishing rod&reel

Anything else you would recommend if i plan on camping on a motorcycle trip? Trying to keep this very minimal
