Kind of an /out question about dogs in my local park.
Let me start with a slight amount of back story. I grew up taking care of a dog I loved very much until it died when I was about 15. One of my first memories of my life was getting that dog, I cried when she died. I love dogs.
That being said, I'm seriously about to shank some god damn dogs that attack me in the park.
I frequently go running/biking at my local park which is within walking distance of my house, lots of trails. Despite the LEASH LAW requiring all dogs to be leashed, everyone walks them with no leash, and 90% of the time, the second a dog sees me, it runs up to me with extreme aggression barking and usually trying to bite.
I'm fucking sick of it. I have martial arts training, and the first 2-3 times this happened, I got bit and did nothing back, brushed it off and said "it's ok" when the owner apologized. Since then I have taken to kicking the dogs in the face. Sometimes it works, sometimes I have to fight more.
I shouldn't have to stop working out in my local park because assholes don't want to obey the law. I guess my basic question is, Would I be a total asshole if I started bringing a knife with me and shanking these dogs? I refuse to stop going, and I also no longer feel safe without a weapon. Also I have training with knives, and I know I could take one down.
