The sausages we use here are ones specifically made for boiling, but I'd imagine that it would go pretty well with any hotdog or other similar sausage.

But as previously stated, condiments that are mostly used are ketchup, shrimp salad, mustard and relish.
Simple as that and I use it when I go innawoods all the time.
