Only hiked and camped on private property with permissions or at state / national parks.

I see all these threads about innawoods shit and whatnot, and its really interesting and something id love to try to get away from being at designated camping spots all the time.

But where the fuck do yall do this? Is there a general guide to finding a spot in the woods where you wont be on someones property and well enough away from the law and everything else
far away enough to not have your fires seen or to have the infamous machete "hwhack" sound alert someone of nearby people...
where do i even start looking for woods to adventure in??
