They were hand-made by a fellow in Colorado named Tom Barminski who died a few years ago.
His knives are of the absolute highest quality, and while he was alive, his mission was to sell them at a very reasonable price.
But like I said, he's dead now, and the knives are in finite supply, though you can find them on ebay every now and then.
He made them in a wondrous variety of sizes, shapes, colors. Some with really beautiful wooden handles. Some cord-wrapped for light-weight pack knives.
I own three of his knives myself, and one of them is with me every single day.
In the pic is my cord-wrapped pack knife with a blade of nickel plated M4 tool steel. Got it for about $60.
This knife will outperform anything else on the market. I guarantee it.
