Can we declare right now the official policy on the discussion of guns, motorcycles, and cameras? Stuff that's related to the board, but also has a board of its own.

now if your thread is say, youre planning a motorcycle trip, youve taken some great outdoors trips and photodocumented it, then go for it

guns, id really rather not see because hunting is already fairly prevalent on /k/ so its pointless

The idea should be "would someone who hikes be interested in this thread?"

If its being talked about as a tool for the outdoors that's cool. If it isn't then it should be in its respective board, this is more of a "specialized" topic I suppose. If guns, cameras etc can't be here, than neither can talk about tents, clothes, packs, boots, axes, gardening tools etc

If a topic pops up once in a while that would usually be put on /k/ or wherever it's not really problematic, it's only a problem when it becomes a usual occurence, like people start thinking /out/ is /k/ 2.0

This should be an okay thread starter.
