>>388938That is exactly what I've ran into with Redfish, tried Intercoastal waters near St John's River, Matanzas Inlet, Crystal River, soon will try Cedar Key when work permits. I have seen 0 Redfish tailing as stupid that sounds.
I think I just need to find better Oyster beds/Grass flats or time it better. I've tried at high tide and at low tide and even when low tide is becoming high tide when the water fills Oyster bed areas that had crabs running all over prior and still not a single tailing Redfish.
On the other hand, I went to Tennessee and managed to catch a wild trout on my second cast in a river near the Smokies and within the first 5 casts the following day.
If only I could find the fish in salt
