>>389230So you're saying that the only interest is in knives, so there should be duplicates of knife threads? That's just illogical.
I agree with you that our traffic is slow, and as such we'll have lots of old topics in the back pages, but to use that as an excuse for there to be a half dozen knife threads on the front 2 pages at any given time is again, illogical.
My argument is that if we compiled all these discussions into a single place, not only would the discussion be better, as the likeminded individuals could all be in a single place, but it would also allow interest in other topics to grow as those pages would then appear towards the front as well, instead of being buried by the dozen repetitive threads that normally fill the front pages.
If it takes me bumping the STG (Sharp Things General) thread every few days for the next few months to get this thing to take off, than so be it. If after a long and conclusive trial showing that the general interest in /out/ is only one of discussing knife particulars, or that the board's viewership simply isn't capable of organizing for the greater good, than I shall renounce myself from this responsibility and probably quit visiting 4chan altogether.
>>389238>tl;dr I'm now going to make it my goal to continue being problematic and further destroying our board The maturity is off the charts with this one.
>>389243>>389257I'd like to take a moment to actually apologize to you, I know how difficult it can be to find social websites that can be used when you know that someone in the IT office could be remotely viewing your page. Your concern is one of an adult, and a sign of maturity, and as such I'm going to try and make a point of cleaning up my act so we can have greater traffic and a friendlier community.
In other news, the knife threads on the front page have dropped by 50% since the creation of this thread, with only the creation of what I can assume is a troll thread. Keep up the good work guys.
