12 dollar kiffiyeh from a milsurp store. Not something I'd ever wear besides when im /out/, but its the single best things to protect you from cold, wind, sun, moisture and insects. Also doubles as a small blanket.

For warm weather I got a cheap straw hat from the fishing/outdoor section at Wal-Mart. It has a Spyderwire logo on it so it doesn't look great but it works well.

For cold, anything I can pull over my ears is fine.
