I have been wanting to go wild camping for some time now, but all the woodlands near me are part of the National Forest.

If i keep low (using a stove instead of fire, being quiet, etc) what would be the worst thing that could happen if someone comes across me?

My father hunts in them and when i was younger and used to go with him, we never came across anyone, so i don't see why not.
