Hey /out/ I need to buy a winter jacket, I'll be going on a surveying expedition to the Arctic, so need a jacket good enough for -30c ish. But I'd also like if I can use it at home (North UK) 5c to -5c normally in winter.
Been looking at this:

But Canada Goose seems far too expensive. I'd like something about half that price if I can.
I've looked for about 4 hours now and all jackets seem the same but don't tell you the temps best for them. I'd obviously be wearing layers.
Can you guys help me? Anyone live in this type of weather? Any recommendations?

>be suitable -30c
>fexible
>light and thin as possible
