>>406446I thought it was implied it hadn't been hanging for more than a few days, providing it stays relatively cool in terms of temperature it should be fine, even outdoors, probably not in the summer months, but during the rest of the year I seriously wouldn't have an issue with it. Hanging the meat and letting it age a little makes it more tender and let's the flavour of the meat develop and mature anyway. Look into dry ageing meats if your interested in learning more.
Allways give it the old sniff test though, if it seems even the slightest bit suspect, don't risk it, your nose is pretty good at weeding out shit that you shouldn't eat.
I mean, I was watching shitty low quality jewtube, but it did have a little bit of a darker tint to it, now that could just be the pig drying out a little, but smoking is also a possibility. If it's smoked, it souls last for months so long as you don't expose any of the inner flesh to bacteria by cutting into the meat.
