eel traps you can make a handfull of ways
2 milk crates zip tied together open sides together with the same sort of funnel opening like a minnow trap would have
its just a bit bigger though you need to make sure the holes arent too big
you can also get a tube of pvc pipe and put a funnel in one open end bait in the back
i lost all mine a while back ( some asshole cut my lines and took them i even ent out snorkeling to look for them )
so i just made one really shitty one today everything is a bit loose and tied together and i didnt have proper screen to cover the large holes so i used screen from old windows
threw it out just before dark ith some left over chicken and freezer burned bluefish and am going to go check tomorrow hoping for a big one
im sure il have an assload of crayfish and other minnos in it too but its better then nothing
i need to walk around the river and look for spots to put them
i also desperatley need some 550 or something heavier to tie them on because im using some cheap ass nylon line that i doubt ill hold
