Has this man outed the Pennsylvania State Police as being totally incompetent when dealing with criminals that are not your typical gang banger or meth-head? Over a month hiding in the woods in the same general area, 1000+ police searching for him and he keeps evading them. Will he be able to survive the winter in NE Pennsylvania?

I love Eric Frein, he's great! I hope he manages to pick a lot more of 'em. Looks pretty airsoft with the battery-pack-disguised-as-IR-Illuminator/laser thing going on. Airsofters also paint away their orange tips all the time. I would know, I used to play airsoft before I realized it's pretty lame and I don't want to associate with them.

I can't see the magazine (looking for spin wheel to keep spring tension) or much of the upper (looking for closed ejection port) to confirm but if I had to bet it's an airsoft gun.

I am doing some light reads on him, the guy visited Belgrade (its Serbian capital) and also visited temple of St.Sava (biggest orthodox church in the world), and his reenactment friends said he was always picking Serbian side, and that he studied history of the conflict.

I have also found that there were 5 more people that were "self taught survivalists" who eluded police for years (some still do) using "special training and terrain conditions".

Damn it /out/, dont teach Serb-aboos (didnt even know those exist, what a strange world) to elude police.

Nigga, you got another thing coming. I know plenty of badass state troopers. There's probably some politics involved in who actually found him, who detained him, and who processed him/questioned him.

Better yet, it was probably just chance the US Marshals caught him before the state police did.

He was also on FBI's top 10 most wanted list... perhaps Gov. Corbett and the FBI wanted non-state entities searching for this guy while the state police officers could do other things that pertained to carrying law and order in Pennsylvania. Granted, there were probably state troopers looking for him at this time too.
