Also bathing, find a river or lake, duck in and scrub your pits hard. You dont need soap but you may feel cleaner scouring yourself with some kind of leaves rather than using bare hands.

Is it ethical? Debatable. This is the point anons argue when claiming it's a troll.
The idea that your shit travels downstream potentially into someone else's camp is distasteful.

In regards to "staying fresh" I just sort of accept that I'm outdoors camping and accept that role. You can do certain things to avoid getting dirty and not shitting on yourself but in general I would say just embrace the outdoors and the smells it has to offer. Its all part of the fun. I don't think many people really expect to see someone who's been backpacking for a few days to come back looking like David Beckham. It doesn't hurt to pack in a small little travel deodorant so you don't have to trap yourselves in a vehicle with your stench on the trip home, but that only helps so much. If you travel by vehicle to your trailhead or whatever your doing outdoors than you can purchase a portable shower bladder like anon showed above ^^^ and just keep it in your car and strip down to your longjohns and rinse off before you head home. That's what I would do but everyone is different and every outdoors situation is different as well. The only time I would bring extra measures for B/O or smell is if it is a fishing trip. That's a whole other ball game. Hope this helps OP
