There are very few people who do what you want to do - unless they are doing the Appalachian trail or something and have the money to a: buy the gear needed and b: the food needed - because the endeavour is pretty much fucking retarded. Most people do 3-4 day camps, maybe a week if they are really into it (while working a day job to pay for it all), but rarely more than that. Most of the assholes you see on youtube are just camping in their backgarden and wake up and have a shower in their house before going to their 9-5.
Going /out/ is a hobby for most, not a lifestyle. If you want to go out and explore the world for a length time go couch surfing or work seasonal jobs; don't shit up this board with threads detailing how you 'aren't keen' on what this whole board is about.
