>>413742Hey OP! You've got most of the essentials but i woulf like to add my two cents:
Pack looks pretty huge/heavy - to me. not necesarily wrong for you. dont know it.
ferrorod is solid as fuck, but bring a lighter too. they are a novelty item. i know i'll get a lot of shit for this but being caught at sundown, cold creeping in, your tinder is moist - you'll thank me.
any axe is better than no axe, but i'd get one with wooden handle and learn how to replace it. fiskars are prone to breaking, especially in cold weather.
first aid kit is essential. good choice there.
chair is a nice luxury if you dont mind the weight.
multi tools are shit imho.
tent is absolute shit. you'll get wet, garanteed. bring a tarp if you want to go super light weight on shelter, but really, any cheap, small tent with inner and rainfly is better.
get a flashlight with crank. maglites are heavy and run out.
grill looks nice but in a survival situation, grilling meat is stupid. you'll get more nutrients from boiling. for camping, why not.
shovel will break and wont do anything a digging stick wont do- really! cant go cheaper/more light weight than that!
pocket sharpener is nice!
Mess kit looks needlessly heavy. garantee you wont use half of those things. same with kettle.
this brings me to the bladder. those are nice to have, but replace the kettle and mess kit with stainless steel bottle and cup for unbreakable backup and weight saving.
most importantly, add a mora to the kit. i'd also add a folding saw.
happy camping!
