Dysentery and plague werent all that common, and their teeth lasted longer than most modern peoples do because of the much lower levels of sugar and carbs in their diet, also they ate very abrasive bread, and all though this ground their teeth down, it also kept plaque at bay

And grossly overstated. The health of historic people was actually not that bad, even for the lower classes. It was only when population densities grew and people moved to cities and lived in slums and squalor that health began to deteriorate.

I read somewhere that they didn't actually drive the wagons like you see in westerns, since they would get destroyed pretty quickly. And they didn't travel in trains I don't think because of the dust or something.
