>>44165It took me a long time to be a successful hunter. On this trip, I'd definitely be able to have gotten a moose or deer if I were after one, and I was practically tripping over rabbits. But back where I grew up, it took me weeks before I started bagging any game. If you're hunting my way, which is entirely on foot and with a bow in rough terrain, then it can be pretty challenging. If you're sitting in a blind or tree stand, of driving around in your truck, then you'll get meat, but I think it takes away from what hunting is supposed to be about.
