Real useful batoning tool. Set it on a log, hit the top with another log. Both logs get split at the same time.

But it is a good idea. Having sharp points on knives is meaningless. A sharp point serves no purpose on 95% of knives. The ones that do need a point are mostly specialty knives. Taking the points off and requiring a permit for ones that do is a good idea. It would certainly cut down on crime.
