I haven't been to Big Bend since I was eight or nine years old, but I took a pretty nice trip to Guadalupe Mountains National Park a couple of years ago. Same part of the world. Have you been there? How different are they? Where would you prefer to go for a three or four day hike? What's the availability of water like in Big Bend?

I like both TBH, but would probably pick BBNP for the variety. Water is pretty easy to find, but sometimes are far apart.

it was a temporary park service job. I did use a professor as a reference. I have a degree in physical geography and a bio minor. Doesnt pay for shit but you can't beat the work
