So...I recently bought a Gransfors Large Splitting Axe for like $160 on some website. I then resold it on Amazon for $200. But now I am seeing the same Gransfors axes for $300+. Wish I had stocked up on 10 of them in the summer then resold them all pre-Christmas. But I am amazed by the price fluctuations and that I pretty simply made 40 bucks just by knowing the market better than the website originally selling it.
Anyway...my point is, as /out/doorsman we depend on quality gear and as a result come to really know the markets and prices of that gear. Anyone else take advantage of that? I mean...stock up on items like knives and axes and then sell them at an adjusted price for profit? It's fun.
