I wanna go camping. I have done a lot of hiking, but never camping in one place for more than a couple of days so I plan to hike away from any trails or populated area and set up for a few weeks.
I live in the UK and have never found anywhere suitable given that all land is owned and wild camping is technically illegal. All I really need is somewhere remote enough that I can light a fire and stay for an extended period without being bothered, however somewhere with decent small game and fish would be really nice.
Scandinavia looks promising but taking a firearm isn't really possible and I'm worried about being eaten by a bear or wolves. I don't know, maybe that's irrational.
Any suggestions?
