You can hunt with lots of things, like crossbow, bow, slingshot, air rifle, shotgun, etc. depending on what's legal in your area.
You'll probably want a pack or satchel (Indiana Jones has one) for ammo, tools, water, snacks, and whatnot.
Bring a knife or two.
You don't need camo, just earth tones and natural fibers.
Don't worry about looking like a tard, because everybody was a noob at one point; just ask questions and don't try to pretend you know anything you don't.
