I am passively considering changing my name and becoming a hobo in the United States. I am from Canada and I do not care much for my current life, which I find extremely sedentary and subdued. I feel that one and a half years is sufficient time to prepare for this sort of lifestyle. I have read that I can find fair work doing activities such as planting trees and picking fruit. I have also read that I should adopt a migratory pattern of movement, going to southern states in the winter and northern states over the summer.

I was wondering if any anons have some previous experience living a hobo lifestyle. Is there any wisdom you might impart to me?
