>>45345Yes. We want to see The Wave in AZ:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Wave,_Arizona>>45376We don't know anything about stuff not on the west coast really, we'd love tips and advice.
>>46895You're right, we should include that. (This map is NOT final, it's a rough idea of what we'll do to hit each state.)
>>47212We want to see other parts of the world, but we'd like to see our own country first. Makes sense to us.
>>47403I grew up in AZ.
>>47864I've heard that before, haha.
>>46911>>46947>>47054>>47093>>47203So here's the thing with the EBT card. I'm a very Libertarian sort of minded fellow. A 'pull-yourself-up-by-the-boot-straps kind of guy. I grew up with very, very little and was thought that if you want something you work for it. I didn't get an allowance like I heard other children did. I've been working since I was 13. Not chores, LEGIT jobs. First job--at 13--was working at a plant nursery weeding, watering, etc. Moved to NY, NY when I was 17 to be a bike messenger. Have had a dozen other jobs and now work at a grocery store.
I believe VERY much in hard work and I have to roll my eyes when I see people driving their nice cars to the store I work and THEY use an EBT card (how they get it in the first place is beyond me).
So I VERY much agree with you about the whole 'leech' thing. You might roll your eyes and say, "Then why're you doing it, FAGGOT!" Well... because when we're on the road we'll not be able to make money. I'm not going to whore myself out for money nor will my girlfriend. We're not going to beg for handouts either. We plan to use
http://gigwalk.com/ to make a little cash when we can, however.
So, back to the EBT thing. Why even touch it? Because the website plainly states that it is for "low income" people make ends meet.
http://www.dshs.wa.gov/onlinecso/food_assistance_program.shtml We won't be "low income" on our trip, we'll be nearly NO income. Yes, due to our own doing, I fully realize that!
