I grew up with a large park reserve in my backyard as a kid. I live in Minnesota. It had large sections of old hardwood forest that yielded some spooky stuff every now and then. If anyone's still in this thread, I'll post a story or two.

I was pretty young, so I wasn't really informed on the case at all, but I think they eventually identified the body? I've got some other stories if anyone's still curious.

if you google maps search winchell lake, you'll notice that it's a long, narrow lake that faces east to west. when a wind picks up on it, it's fierce and unrelenting.
i've been on a lot of BWCA trips since then, but i refuse to camp on that lake ever again. 2spooky.
