>>433252thats what i got mine for
fishing small lakes and ponds and some rivers
im sure i can take it out in the ocean to an extent but im not going to push it
i got mine as a gift from family anfd im sure there are better choices out there but i like it very much
i have something like
http://feelfreeus.com/kayaks/fishing-kayaks/moken-10/ except it has a soft net in the front instead of hard and its a great kayak
incredibly stable for fishing ( i can stand up in it and still feel comfortable )
plenty of room to put all of your stuff infront and behind you aswell as the entire inside of the kayak as dry storage
rod holders are great for fishing
and while the wheel on the back may look stupid its fucking great for carrying the kayak to plaes further away
you can just load all your shit on it and drag it and not have to worry about dammaging it
>>433311i personally have taken out my 10 year old cousin in mine with me ( had him sit in front of me )
its a bit harder to paddle and the kayak becomes more bulky and hard to turn but he weighs a good amount and it was doable
the kayak has drain holes in it though that if you put in too much weight water will splash in when you paddle hard or of the water is really choppy
i havnt had an issue with it really though they do sell plugs for them
>>433313if you're worried about leg room mine has a shit ton im 6 ft 3 with a 34 inch inseam and i dont even use the furthest foot holes on mine
>tldrmy kayak is fucking great for what its made for
its a but heavier and wider and not as agile as some other options but shit is stable and will hold 300+ lbs easily
plenty of storage for your fishing shit behind you and room for a kid infront of you if needed
you may want to invest in a set of plugs if planning on going out in choppy areas if you dfont want to get wet
