OP, it's about the same price as buying a mora and a firesteel rod separately. It's just convenient to have them together.

Wtf is the point of creating weak points in /out/ knife handles purely for aesthetics? I'd rather have my mora heavy duty companion and separate fire steel which is attached to the sheath.

The robust line is actually fairly thick for a mora. It definitely feels like a solid knife.

other mora knives aren't full tang either.
you guys get too hung up on this shit. the light my fire mora has gotten good reviews from just about every outdoorsman that reviewed it. it's just a basic mora knife with firesteel in the back.

mora knives aren't full tang, but that doesn't stop them from being good, cheap knives.
you're not going to replace a 1/4" thick 7" blade survival knife with one, but that's not what people use them for.

OP, Mora's are fine for what they were design for. ppl in /out/ get so damn butt hurt over it, cause they push it pass what it was design for and break it. Go look up all the survival experts, you'll find that more than half will suggest a mora.

BK7 + Mora = Amazing. Throw in a small hatchet and you're golden.

sheath is pretty sturdy. there's a hole in the bottom to let water out. grip is rubberized, firesteel fits in snug although it is a little small. back of blade has sharp square edges to bite into the firesteel effectively. Knife is held in sheath very snug and securely and won't pop out. blade has a decent sharpness for stainless. It will rust a little if not dried off when wet though. blade is a little short so it really just works as a utility knife. I personally strap this knife onto my waders when fishing and it is excellent for that. It's not exactly my first choice for firesteel or knife but it's my first choice when I want both in a neat package. Also by the way the firesteel also fits in snug when locked. The overall feeling is of good manufacturing and forethought with good execution of the concept

When I was in the navy we used these knives all the time to kill people in iraq. They work great. One time I was stabbing this Islam guy in iraq and he had a hot sister. I was like "please be in London" you know because we were killing so many people. I didn't want to kill some hot chick. Mora knife are great.
