getting my gf a parka, because she's stubborn as fuck about improperly dressing for the cold. i own two canada goose jackets (snow mantra, borden bomber) and one nobis (cartel), and i have found both brands absolutely superior for the kind of environment i live in. but, then again, i've also shopped from the perspective of a male who cares more about function than form.

what female parka is both stylish and will actually deliber in sub-freezing temperatures? i've been eyeing the canada goose whistler parka, but i've also heard things abotu moncler, mackage, etc. anyone know anything about these brands? is moncler just a heavy price tag, or does it actually perform?
