I like them for geologyfagging, splitting off a rotten section of wood to collect fishing bait, prying tasty creatures off rocks and pilings, and digging cat-holes. Basically, I needed a prybar and it ended up replacing my trowel and keeping me from trying to dull my knife doing things a knife was not meant to do.
