I realize this might not appeal to many of you basement dwellers but I have a problem. My daughter is 4 and we like to go camping. In the summer time it is fine but in the winter time she complains quite a bit. The other day we camped in 20 degrees F, which as we all know is no big deal, but she bitched and moaned the whole time. She was warm enough, I made sure of that, and we had a great fire going, but she was anxious about being out in the cold woods overnight and she wanted to go home where it was warm. She cried over the smallest things because she was not happy about being out in the snow and I was running out of ways to make her happy.

Anyone winter camp with kids? How did you keep the little 'uns happy? She's usually great with the outdoors, loves animals, exploring the woods, etc, but in the snow she gets scared for some reason.
