My homeboard is /int/, Moot almost never gets mentioned, in fact, I thought it was just /b/ that talked about him. So, no, I have never seen a "moot is traveling/coming to your country" thread. Like he took time off at that friends cabin or whatever inna woods, during a lot of 4chan bullshit. And he just associated it with being away from the bullshit.

But it's just an escape to all the stress/bullshit he's dealt with.

It'd b the same if he had met some qt314 and drove a car around Mexico together or sailing or living in some mountains.

He'll play outdoorsman for a bit, like many yuppies before him.

But it's not him. It's just him escaping.

And he'll run back to Civilization and Startup Venture capital land bullshit. Or find something to exploit in the outdoors and make money off of.

Moot seems like a nice and meek guy. I wish him safety in his time /out/. And hope he takes it seriously and is prepared bodily, physically and mentally.

that's basically what the Cryptid Creep Hunt /kx/ threads were about back in 2013. The plan was for /k/ and /x/ to go innawoods hunting spoobys. /x/ was to record the encounter and /k/ was to try and keep everyone alive. Those were some good threads. Though we never heard back from the group that went out look for Sasquatch in Northern Washington....

At least one of them was kind enough to share this email before they all disappeared.

2013 was a good year. Right before /x/ turned into complete cancer and a migration to /k/ was all but essential. Though /out/ seems pretty pleasant too. Maybe some of you guys could come to NuggetFest and enjoy 3 days of hiking, camping and cooking out under the starts with some /k/ommandos. Next NuggetFest is in Nevada in early March.
