I have one, it's decent as far as hatchets go. My dad thinks it's GOAT for some reason but idk, I don't really like hatchets all that much. If weight/space is a concern I'd rather have a saw, if not then I want a real ax.

The short, stumpy, impotent swing of a hatchet just really frustrates me for some reason. It's like running underwater, or those dreams where you try to throw a punch but you're weak as shit and it doesn't do any damage.

I got one as well. It's decent, semi-lite weight. I pair it a small butcher knife from my kitchen when I go out, sometimes also bring a Corona folding saw.
What >>453342 says about is something I kind of feel too, especially when chopping. But splitting it fairs pretty well and it takes a decent edge with a bastard file. It's no Granfors Bruks, but it's a great axe for the money in my book.

My BIGGEST advice about it though, I picked one up in Home Depot, and the grind was uneven, which really irked me until I filed it equally. If you pick one up in person, check the grind angle, check polish on the stacked leather, and check to see that the ace is symmetrical.
