i think he has a lot of good advice if you can get past some of his quirks and his hard on for "heritage" tools. He also made a video about Lumbersexuals, which in turn caused him to be accused of being a lumbersexual himself. He's also very Christian, and brings it up a lot, even dedicating videos to it.
So good advice, odd guy sometimes.
