Goddamnit OP, come on. I usually don't hate on threads like this, but we've had like 5 of these in the last month. THERE IS LITERALLY ONE CALLED "any recommendations for a good hatchet?".
>>439361That being said, a good cheap hatchet? Estwing Sportsman. Good tool if you're willing to take a file to it. I got one a few years ago, the polished leather-stacked handle blistered my soft, weak hands. Now they're rougher. You can find them at Home Depot. American made. Also on Amazon, etc.
If you're looking for anything larger, Estwing has others, but I also recommend Husqnarva (once again, be prepared to file it), Condor (also, be prepared to file it), etc.
