>Whatever. Go to camp for a few hours to eat lunch and repair parts after a storm we had
>Notice a 5 gallon bucket we keep at the camp for a chair/utility is gone.
>wtf...
>Finish up and head back to civilization
>On way back I the sun shining off something large 20 yards or so from trail.
>Never noticed that before
>Go check it out.
>From a distance I can see a what looked like 2x4 shelter with a tarp over it
>Random stuff all around...including my bucket
>Call out.
>No one answers
>Walk into clearing and lift tarp
>...thats marijuana
>About 2 dozen tiny marijuana plants in individual pots.
>Sure it was weed because who the fuck grows tomatoes out here like that?
>Hear rustling
>Look back to see hoodie man standing like a deer in head lights near the entrance
>Tactically shit self and pull out tomahawk
>He runs off
>I leave in opposite direction
>Tell bros about it and we go to check it out a few days later
>Spot is totally empty aside from the 2x4 used to make the shelter and my bucket
>Take bucket back to camp
I later realized I probably couldve been shot or something like that. A grow was found by the local PD about a year before that nearby as well
Anyone else ever come across something innawoods you weren't supposed to?
