>>458996I have an emergency car kit, and an always-packed camping bag.
Car has a tool set, jug of water, some snacks, lighter+matches, blankets, emergency candle, and a small knife.
Camping bag has everything: winter sleeping bag, tarp, hammock, stove, aluminium pot, lights/matches/striker, paracord, synthetic rope, about 6000 calories of food, and ~7 bottles of water.
In the event of some social upheavle, riots, massive power outage, or other semi-realistic SHTF scenario, I'd just fill up the tub, barricade the apartment, and defend the doors/windows. I mean, if it's a serious apocalypse situation, like Yellowstone erupting or a massive solar flare, going innawoods isn't gonna help much, especially because every other person in town is going to have that same idea.
