Hey, /out/
I'm climbing my first mountain tomorrow. It's a 4260m (or about 13976ft) above sea level extinct volcano, so a fairly easy place to start a mountaineering career. I'm quite used to camping and hiking/jogging medium to long distances and consider myself to have a pretty good stamina in general. So normally I wouldn't be worried.
But here's the deal, though.
I just found out it's snowed as fuck, it comes as a surprise because this hadn't happen in over a decade. I normally live in a rainforest/tropical weather, so needles to say, I don't have the right equipment.
So far, this is what I got:
>running shoes/basketball shoes
>cotton pants/jeans
>winter jacket (not weatherproofed though)
>lighter jacket
>45l backpack
>smaller backpack
>sports sunglasses (I'm told this is a need when snow's around)
>2 sleeping bags (one is warmer, but takes up much more space in my pack)
>Swiss Army knive
Tips?
>inb4 gloves.
Ok, but what kind?
Pic related, its the peak.
