>>463255Actually coyotes can be domesticated in one generation, if you raise it as a puppy it is basically just a dog unless it is one of the gigantic wolf hybrids you get in Maine/Canada in which case it is kinda dangerous around strangers. All canids can be raised as pets without further domestication, foxes don't even need that. There is a family of them that lives in the back lot of the hardware store up in Jackman Maine, every spring one of them puts out a litter of kits. If you want to make friends with one of the adults you just walk up to one of their kids and throw them a hotdog, the parents immediately run up and try to get one as soon as they see the kits eating one.

You glance down at this red fluffy thing and think "hey that is a really weird looking cat" then your brain realizes it isn't a cat and you need a few seconds to mentally process "Fox" before your brain figures out what it is.
