Get a satellite Internet dish and solar panels to power the whole setup.

Although neither would really be very portable. Not to mention that being that connected while on an /out/ing completely defeats the point. At most you should bring a loaded kindle or something of that nature.

If you think you need communication just get one of those stupidly expensive satellite texting devices and use Twitter.

But if you need the Internet that bad, why not just camp in your backyard or in a campground with wifi or 4G?

In Norway you can get mobile broadband using a small USB stick/modem far out to sea and on mountains and shit pretty far off grid. It's probably not fool proof, but they claim to cover 75% of Norway. That's a whole shitload of fjords and mountains.

In Canada we plug a hole in our igloo or open a flap on our tent, then we pin a message and a loonie on a passing moose. They deliver it to an internet café (usually a Tim Hortons) and the message gets posted by their staff. A little slow but if you are reading this it must work fairly well.

I can see one legitimate use for needing access and that's for scientific research.
Some data may be time sensitive such as volcano monitoring. Although I think they have monitoring stations with sat uplinks.

honestly bro when I go camping I bring 4 pairs of shoes. 1 hiking boot, 1 flip flop, 1 more secure style sandal for walkkin in water, and 1 pair of cheap sneakers.

When HIKING i only bring boots and flops, but when camping, why not bring amenities that make you more comfortable?
