Just bought "Irish Setter Trail Phantom" boots for a conservation job i have coming up. just my size, nice and snug.. I thought i'd go for a 5 mile hike to break them in a bit.. Worst fucking piece of shit boots I've ever bought in my entire life, absolutely 0 flexibility whatsoever so your feet just end up rubbing against the sides because they have nowhere to go, my ankles can't move at all in them and all the stress from each step goes straight to your ankles and knees, walking through the snow was a fucking nightmare, and for the first time in 21 years I was afraid I might actually slip on the ice.
ITT: we show OP the boots he could have bought had he taken the time to look around.
