How do I learn the basics of fishing? I'd love to go to one of the local rivers/lakes and try to catch some but I have no one to teach me how to tie a lure or anything. I actually have fishing gear that I haven't used for probably 10 years, since I was a kid. I'd love to get some help with how to tie a float and weights, the rest seems fairly straight forward.
