>>471020>batoning>making V-cutsThose are easy to make without batoning. Are you really going to do that to a knife just to v-cut? That's absurd. How about you actually learn to use your knife properly so that you know how to do this stuff the right way instead of literally bludgeoning your way through everything?
>>471028>car gets stuck in the mud or snowThat happens a lot where I live, in fact it happened 2 days ago. I have proper tools and stuff to get my vehicles unstuck.
>What if you break your leg and need to build two crutches to walk out?I'd only build 1 crutch and you don't need to baton to do that. Also, just getting to the materials to use to make the crutch is going to be a real fucking deal and take a lot longer than my next check-in time. So, by the time I'd have the crutch finished, there'd be people carrying me home.
>Are you gonna whittle? That is exactly what I do already.
>These are things people think when they already are in a survival situation. Doesn't help much. That's because they are morons that think about it AFTER they get into a bad situation. Like those people that bleed out because they don't even have a simple rudimentary first aid kit and no knowledge of how to do anything.
>When in a survival situation you start cooking? When I'm hungry or when food will go bad if I don't cook it before then.
Meanwhile, you are dragging your hungry cold self with a lame ass broken leg through the dark cold woods whimpering because no one knows where you are, you've never actually made a crutch in your life, you couldn't even make a wooden baton for the knife so you used a rock instead and ended up breaking the knife and deeply cutting your hand. To top it off, you didn't even bring dry tinder to start a fire with.
That is what you sound like. That is where your mind is at. Those things came from you. Because that's the situation YOU will put yourself into because that is how you think. Don't project your failings onto other people.
