You can argue how we measure things, but you can't deny their measurability, and if things can be measured you need a way to scale them. Maybe the scale is based on an arbitrary figure, but that doesn't make it "fake".
Kinda like folks who say US vs Metric is "stupid blah blah why don't we all use Metric it's better we use tens and you people use someones foot" No, we use fractions. The arbitrary point was a foot, just like the metric system has to take an arbitrary point to divide/multiply by tens (The dimensions of the planet).
Can't we all just measure things, draw our lines, and get along? Why the contention?!
