Now imagine all their advisors. Their families. Now imagine the tradesmen of the cities. The farmers. Their kids. The poor. The criminals. They're all dust and forgotten.
You have a misplaced sense of your own worth and what "contributing" means. You can do your best and it still doesn't matter. You'll be forgotten along with the rest.

Normally people grow out of their "mommy says I'm special" phase.
If what you really meant was "you're shit because you don't have my net worth" that may be true. But I have work and a family. I'm pretty content.
