I browse /out/ alot but I've never actually been /out/
The place where I love is partly to blame, as there's no nature in Belgium but I could easily go crossborder. Anyone else in a similar situation?

Yeah, even though I've been /out/ before I'm pretty much stuck in Detroit right now. There's a few small parks around here but that's about it. Shit sucks.

If we're talking Flanders, I won't argue with the exception of the Kalmthoutse Heide and eastern Limburg, but, for example, people get lost and die in the Hoge Venen/Hautes Fagnes every now and then. Especially in winter, you can hike there without seeing a single person for days.

Also, look into the GR5 and the Ardens in general.

Well with Belgium I meant especially the place where I live which is West-Flanders which has no nature

I should check out the Ardens I guess, I always assume it's pretty small

I live near Meerdal woud which is 2050 hectars of pristine forest. It's near the city of Leuven and easy to reach. Not really /out/ but for starters it's a great place.
