>>474252Not OP, and he is kinda trolley, but a majority of people in the US underestimate that sort of thing. People freak the fuck out when the power goes out, stores run out or they get hit by weather they aren't used to (either unusual or they're new to the area). We've gotten snow like 4x in my lifetime in Tucson, and two of those times they closed all the bridges and we basically had a snow day from like 1/4 inch of snow. Compare that to the crazy-ass monsoons we have that cause rivers in the street and no fucks given.
